The concert will feature a number of solo and small-ensemble performances, including a multi-movement flute duet by Czech composer Jindrich Feld, a solo violin Partita by J.S Bach, a light-hearted violin and flute duet by Franz Anton Hoffmeister, and ending off with a Classical flute, violin and cello trio by Joseph Hadyn.

The Young Professional Musicians Collective (YPMC) is delighted to present a evening celebrating the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the most influential and beloved composers in Western music.

Presented in collaboration with Matt Kallio, Music Director of Grace Presbyterian Church, and Ethan Hill, Music Director of Knox United Church, this special performance brings together emerging and established musicians alongside local professional singers in a shared exploration of Bach's enduring artistry.

Audiences will experience the vibrant energy of this Concerto No. 3, the elegance and virtuosity of Orchestral Suite No. 2, and the uplifting Cantata BWV 147, featuring the beloved chorale Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Together, these works showcase Bach's extraordinary ability to unite technical brilliance, expressive beauty, and profound spiritual depth.

More than three centuries after it was composed, Bach's music continues to inspire, comfort, and connect us. Through these collaborative performances, we invite you to join us for this evening of joy, reflection, and musical community as we celebrate the timeless genius of J.S. Bach.

Join the Young Professional Musicians Collective for an afternoon of vibrant chamber music featuring emerging Calgary artists. The Young Professional Musicians Collective (YPMC) is excited to be having our debut concert in Calgary: "Unconventional Ensembles". This 1 hour long concert will feature a dynamic program of pieces with less heard musical instrumentations from your favourite composers like Stravinsky and Prokofiev, as well as the world premier of a new composition "After Midnight" written by young musicians Xavier Cintrón and Louis D. Rivera Gotay.
