Anika Acasio

Anika Acasio is a pianist and teacher based in Calgary. She studied piano at the University of Calgary with Dr. Lana Henchell. She also participated in masterclasses with Jani Parsons, Andrzej Slazak, and Jon Kimura Parker. In 2023, she was one of the pianists who premiered Vincent Ho’s The Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals Book 2. She has performed with the University of Calgary Chorus and Calgary Youth Orchestra, as well as at the Honens 88-key and 176-key festivals. In addition to solo piano, Anika enjoys collaborating with other musicians and accompanying choral ensembles.
